Everybody knows Liberty of London for its stunning window displays at the start of each season. The beautifully designed spectacle is always clever and creative, attracting the crowds who wait eagerly for the new displays to be unveiled. You can imagine how exciting it was for ABC to become involved in Liberty’s summer window display!
Liberty has teamed up with Havaianas, the celebrated Brazilian flip-flop purveyor, to produce a range of summer footwear and accessories. Their new window display reflects this inspired collaboration. It was fantastic to play our part in making it such a feast for the eyes!
Could we produce a quantity of sealed air inflatable spheres to look like big yellow beach balls? Of course we said yes! It was only when we were discussing the artwork we found out that the client was Liberty of London!
They wanted a particular yellow colour for the spheres. And we had to match each letter style and colour to their brief. So our fabulous artist Tim painstakingly artworked each one by hand.
Liberty was very pleased with the result. Doesn’t it look impressive?! Especially when you consider that each of the inflatable beach balls is on a mechanism that makes them individually move up and down. We think it showcases this exciting new partnership with Havaianas perfectly. It also brings a real taste of sunny Brazil to Regent Street!
