The nearest Saturday to Remembrance Day is always the day of the Lord Mayor’s Show. We know this because we have made inflatables and travelled to London Wall to install them every year for the last 23 years!
Compared with the 800 years that Lord Mayor’s Show has been running, 23 years makes us newcomers to the event! However, we are very proud that we have not missed a single Lord Mayor’s Show since we supplied our first inflatable all those years ago. Our inflatables have become such an established part of the Lord Mayor’s Show that we have been an official Supplier to the Pageant Master for many years now.
The Lord Mayor’s Show 2019 was no exception. In addition to the TV attention grabbing inflatable Pig we made for the Worshipful Company of Paviors, we made a giant helium filled inflatable cylinder for the Hyperion Insurance Group and the colourful Chinese Lanterns for the Bank of China.
All these parade balloons and custom inflatable shapes are helium filled so they floated above the walkers’ heads in the procession. They are a great way of getting several people involved in the Lord Mayor’s Show with an eye catching yet cost-effective ‘float’!
